Welcome to the Blogging Your Dreams Contest from WashingtonPost.Newsweek Interactive (WPNI), 1515 North Courthouse Road, Floor 11, Arlington, VA 22201. By submitting your dream description to Blogging Your Dreams and bloggingyourdream.com (the "website") between October 11, 2007 and January 11, 2008, you will become eligible to receive a prize, subject to the rules and conditions described below. Please read these rules carefully BEFORE submitting your dream description.

The Prize
At least one (1) prize valued at no more than $5,000 will be awarded to an eligible participant. The prize awarded will consist of funds used to fulfill the winner's "dream," subject to the rules and conditions established by WPNI. In some instances, a monetary award will not be feasible; in this case, WPNI reserves the right to purchase and provide to the winner the tools, services, or products to accomplish a dream. WPNI reserves the right to award and fund additional prizes at its discretion, but in no event will the total value of prizes exceed $10,000. Tax liabilities resulting from any prize shall be the sole responsibility of the prize recipient.

Who Can Enter
This contest is being offered solely via the internet and is open to all United States and District of Columbia residents [excluding TENNESSEE and where prohibited] 18 years of age and older. Employees of WPNI and AARP, their family members, affiliated companies, advertising and promotion agencies are ineligible to win this contest. All entries received from ineligible members will be rendered null and void. The contest is VOID IN TENNESSEE and where prohibited.

How to Become a Participant
Eligible participants must complete the sign-up form at http://www.bloggingyourdreams.com/registration.html, providing true, accurate, current, and complete information about their dream. Participants must base their dream description entirely on facts relevant to their own life or the person / persons referred to in their dream.

When a participant registers and provides their opt-in consent, the participant agrees to allow WPNI to post and/or discuss their submission on bloggingyourdreams.com, a public website. Participants understand that submitting and/or discussing their dream description does not mean they will win the Blogging Your Dreams contest. All dream descriptions submitted are property of WPNI, regardless of dream award status. Any and all information posted on the Blogging Your Dreams website may be made public during or after the course of this contest.

Participants will receive an email at their registered email address. Particpants are limited to one entry.

Dream Description Selection
Winners will be obligated to write about their dream experience on the Blogging Your Dreams website for a discrete period of time of no more than 1 to 2 posts per week for 2 months. Winners will be obligated to begin blogging the experience after 2 weeks of notification of winning.

Award Process
All winners will be notified by email no later than January 31, 2008. Winners will be chosen on a rolling basis. Winners who respond to an award notification email sent to their registered email address will receive funds within 14 calendar days of the date on which their dream description is granted. Unclaimed funds are null and void upon the commencement of the 15th day following the date on which a dream description is granted. All participants are solely responsible for ensuring current and valid contact information. Return or undeliverable notifications may result in forfeiture of the prize.

A winner's list can be obtained by emailing bloggingyourdreams@wpni.com.

In the event a participant's dream description is selected, WPNI reserves the right to check the accuracy of the information entered by the participant and may withhold funds if any part of the dream description. Awardees may be required to provide WPNI with a government-issued photo identification, social security number, and any other information which may be relevant in determining authenticity and/or payment of said funds. Failure to provide requested documents may result in forfeiture of funds.

Participants found to be in violation of the official rules will automatically be disqualified, and any prize granted will be forfeited.

Limitations on Liability
WPNI and AARP are not responsible for any incorrect and/or inaccurate information, whether caused by website users and/or by any of the equipment and/or programming associated with and/or utilized in the blogging service, or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of submissions. WPNI and AARP assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft and/or destruction and/or unauthorized access to and/or alteration of entries. WPNI and AARP are not responsible for any problems and/or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of email and/or players on account of technical problems and/or traffic congestion on the internet and/or at any website or combination thereof, including injury or damage to participants or to any other person's computer related to and/or resulting from participating or downloading materials in this service. If, for any reason, the service is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures and/or any other causes beyond the control of WPNI and AARP which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity and/or proper conduct of this service, WPNI and AARP reserve the right at their sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify and/or suspend the service.

Miscellaneous
This contest and blogging service are subject to all applicable laws and regulations and are VOID IN TENNESSEE and where prohibited.

WPNI cannot be held liable for any lost or stolen dream submissions, funds, or personal information.

CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY A PARTICIPANT AND/OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE THE WEBSITE AND/OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SERVICE IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, WPNI RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
